Tina Teague
Director of Statutory Partnerships
Tina has 16 years experience in the NHS, her portfolio included commissioning for Cardiovascular Diseases and supporting the development of local GP Federations. Tina has also worked in operational roles managing cardiology and cancer services. Tina led the transforming community services programme locally, designing and overseeing the public engagement and re-specification of community services for procurement.
Paula Varndell-Dawes
Director of Commercial Partnerships
Paula Originally trained as a nurse and after qualifying worked across a number of specialities including surgery, cardiovascular medicines and urology.
Paula has spent much of her career in the life science sector in a variety of roles including marketing, regional sales management and market access. She has also worked in commissioning, service redesign and most recently headed up the Commercial Development arm at the South West Academic Health Science Network.
Dr Jim Forrer
Medical Director
Dr Jim Forrer is a GP Partner in Exmouth, East Devon. Jim completed a Masters in Public Administration at Exeter. He is CCG vice-chair for his sub-locality and sits on the locality board; Jim is Clinical lead for Cancer for NEW Devon and is an appraiser of other GPs, a trainer of GPs in training and a tutor for medical students on placement. Jim is Chair of Exe Estuary Health, a GP federation of six practices caring for about fifty thousand patients and soon to be providing a minor injury unit service. He provides video consultations as part of the Prime Minister’s Challenge Fund and is part of the NHS Clinical Entrepreneurship Programme.
